BLACK GIRLS HAVE TEA PARTIES TOO
EST 2013
In 2012 Kelly Snider did a google search for a tea party set and noticed that out of the hundreds of pictures none were of little black girls.
For representation & inspiration purposes for black girls Kelly created Black Girls Have Tea Parties Too. An annual event that caters to young black girls teaching self love awareness, mannerisms, tea blends, hair care and the importance of unity.
We strive to encourage our girls that black is beautiful, and the tea party isn’t just a party it’s a sisterhood.

BLACK GIRLS SWIM TOO
EST 2018
Inspired by a friend Kelly Snider created a swim retreat program. The mission of BLACK GIRLS SWIM TOO is to promote swimming along with the unique qualities young black queens have and encourage them to become limitless.
There is a major stigma in the black community that black women can’t swim or won’t swim. At BLACK GIRLS SWIM TOO we directly raise self-esteem and have open discussions of beauty in the black community as well have self esteem workshops.

BLACK KIDS PLANT TOO
EST 2020
Black Kids Plant Too is a gardening drop in program. We meet on saturday afternoons at Harlem Nights Lounge where kids learn about soil, growing food, beautifying tree beds, and propagating plants.
Throughout the year ALL of the combined programs do group community service. From prom dress giveaways & toy drives drives to our newest initiative #BLACKKIDSPLANTTOO we work together to set an example. While we have annual holiday parties and events, we have added on new team activities such as double dutch contest, photography programs, make-up parties, gardening and more. With over 50 youth in the 3 programs, we aim to build beneficial relationships with all the participants.
